brief | an archiving/indexing project + a pop up artbook library and reading room. facilitated with a selection of art, cinema, costume, design, + photography books from the Burntsienna Research Library for creative professionals + design enthusiasts. developed in collaboration with Natalie Terceman + Greg Velasquez for Hotel Figueroa.

archiving : catalogue 654 books in lobby collection | index by genre, archive digitally | make available to management/concierge (30.75 hrs)

set up (reading room) : registration portal + newsletter sign up | American Tourister cases for transporting library catalogue | install catalogue in-kind with existing aesthetic

activation : guests arrive, greeted + informed about Burntsienna Research Society as well as Hotel Figueroa history | guide guests to seating areas, then to peruse books at leisure | complimentary tea, coffee available for attending guests
